This is an old revision of the document!
Our Sunday School is where our young people learn about the teaching
of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lessons cover all aspects
of the Bible from both Old and New Testaments, alongside songs and
prayers. All teachers and helpers are
CRB approved.
Total length is 60 minutes
Our Sunday morning service centres around the Breaking of Bread, when baptised members take bread and wine every week in remembrance of the life, death, resurrection and promised return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The service also includes hymns, readings from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, prayers, collection and announcements. There is also a talk based on aspects of Bible teaching to encourage us to follow God’s ways.
The service last about 75 minutes and visitors are welcome.
Our Sunday evening Bible Hour centres around an informative
presentation of different aspects of Bible teaching and how these are
important to life and faith. In addition to the talk, there are hymns,
prayers and a Bible reading.
The service lasts about 50 minutes and is
followed by free tea and coffee. All are welcome.
Several times through the year we replace our normal Sunday programme with a Family Service.
The service runs from 10:30 to 11:30 at which point we have a coffee break and resume at 12:00 for a simple Breaking of Bread led by the President.
On these days there is no Sunday School or Evening Bible Hour.

Our Bible Class is an informal opportunity to learn about and discuss various aspects of the teaching of the Bible. A different topic is presented and discussed each week. The class normally lasts about an hour. Everyone is welcome.
